BLANK SS2011 THE WALL MAN

BLANKの春夏2011のコレクションのテーマは”THE WALL MAN”

マルセルエイメの”壁抜け男”や諸星大二郎の”壁男”といった本からインスピレーションを受けており、

コレクションはチェックの生地の上に壁紙柄がプリントされた生地や、ストーリーに登場してくる怪盗ウルフマンや巨大ダイヤモンドのプリントなど、

インパクトがあり、どこかコミカルなのが面白い。

the new Spring Summer 2011 inspiration comes from "Marcel Ayme" (The Walker through Walls).art and short story from his book.

and from the Japanese Manga the wall man by "Daijiro Moroboshi".

今回で３度目になるBLANKxMARCOは壁が崩れたような立体的な加工の上にタイダイ染めがしてあるなど、いつものドレスラインよりはカジュアルになっている。

BLANKxMARCO

is a collaboration line with Marco an independent costume designer doing most of his work for the theater and order made garments.

i always find the out come interesting when designers from 2 different backgrounds are combining thoughts and ideas over the same concept. the SS2011 is the 3rd collaboration line.
