In memory of "Tadeusz Kantor"

MARIOSの過去のコレクションにポーランドの演出家、タデウシュ・カントールからインスパイアーされたものがあった。
そして、２０１０年は彼の死後２０周年ということで、ヨーロッパなどではさまざまな催しが行われている。
日本ではそこまで知られていないみたいですが、死をテーマに独特の世界観を放っています。
本や映画にもなっているみたいなので、機会があれば探してみては。

代表作：『死の教室』
A couple of years back MARIOS did an Collection which in part was inspired by the polish artist Tadeusz Kantor.
2010 is the 20 year anniversary from his dead.
last evening the Marios team went to see the projection of his famous spectacle THE DEAD CLASS (1975) at Cinema Gnomo in Milan.

Tadeusz Kantor (born 6 April 1915 in Wielopole Skrzyńskie – died 8 December 1990 in Krakow)
Was a Polish painter, assemblage artist, set designer and theatre director. Kantor is renowned for his revolutionary theatrical performances in Poland and abroad.
Is one of the most significant Polish artists of the 20th century. Alongside his work as a visual artist he was also involved in the performing arts: he is regarded as a pioneering theatre reformer influenced by the ideas of avant-garde artists. Kantor was particularly interested in disrupting the illusion created by classical theatre, and aimed to break up the prevailing distancing engendered by the stage situation and open it up to real life. He was thus among those 20th-century artists who proclaimed and practised an open concept of art transgressing all its boundaries. The artist attained world renown in the 1970s with the travelling theatre group Cricot², which he established in the mid-1950s.

こちらはパズルだけど組み合わせる凹凸がなく、自由に配置できるようになっています。

Today i did some end of the year stock room cleaning and found 4pcs of this creative magnetic puzzle made by "a forest" design company.
you can transform objects or ambience's by covering them, constructing the image in your own creative way.
the puzzle is a limited addition of 100 Pcs, so this are probably the last 4 pcs out there.this can be a grate creative X-mass present.
